Holmium oxide filter for spectrophotometer HI801-11 for checking the wavelength accuracy, with certificate The HI801-11 is a holmium oxide glass filter used to check the wavelength accuracy of the HI801 iris spectrophotometer. The filter is mounted in a 10 mm square anodised aluminium holder and is supplied with a plastic protective box to protect the filter when not in use. Absorption peaks are measured at 361, 454, 536 and 638 nm. Fits all spectrophotometers that can accommodate a 10 mm square cuvette. The HI801-11 is traceable to SRM2034 and is supplied with a certificate stating the peak absorbance values of the filter with an uncertainty of 0.1 nm. The HI801-11 holmium oxide filter is used with the wavelength test mode of the HI801 iris spectrophotometer. The filter is inserted into the meter and the wavelength check mode is then used to check the wavelength positioning. Once the test is complete, the meter displays the wavelength peaks and compares them to the values on the certificate. The values should be within ±1.5 nm of the certified value.
